“Harry Cohen and Friends” Art Show and Opening Reception: A Benefit for DrawBridge
You are invited to attend an amazing art show and benefit for DrawBridge entitled “Harry Cohen and Friends,” beginning Saturday, February 4, 2017 and running all month. The exhibit features the work of 14 Bay Area artists, including painters, sculptors and one photographer. The site is the San Geronimo Valley Community Center, 6350 Sir Francis Drake Blvd., San Geronimo. The preview reception on Saturday, February 4 runs from 4:00-7:00 pm. DrawBridge will receive 20% of any sales that occur during the reception.
At 92, Harry Cohen is painting every day in his studio high in the Redwoods above Woodacre. His work has been displayed in numerous galleries and museums across the country and was described as “reflecting his personality, gregarious and exuberant, full of passion for life, yet also capable of subtlety and gentleness.”
Participating artists include Michael Killen, Jo Killen, Skip Henderson, Beth Pewter, Leonard Breger, Brian Carter, Peter Strindberg, Bruce Burtch, Fred Holle, Odis Schmidt, Karen Worth, Jack Kamesar and Lars Johnson.
