DrawBridge Launches In-Person Art Groups

This fall, DrawBridge expects to resume in-person programming at as many as 15 partner sites across the Bay Area, with more groups announced soon. To prepare for the reopening, DrawBridge conducted nearly 100 interviews with facilitators, volunteers, and partners across the seven regions we serve. Building on this research, facilitators and volunteers participated in Covid-19 safety training in accordance with the national, state, and regional guidelines.
Working closely with site partners, DrawBridge programs will start in August with fully vaccinated facilitators and volunteers as well as mask and social distancing protocols in place. Each art group will be provided with sanitizing kits to ensure program spaces and supplies are cleaned before and after each use, and ample PPE and art materials will be available to all participants.
If you would like to support these efforts, please consider sponsoring a DrawBridge youth artist or a site in your community. Visit our website to learn more.
