Art Group Facilitator
Reports to: Program Manager
Status: Part-time, non-exempt; $20-$25 per hour
Hours: 3-15 hours per week depending on program need; afternoons to early evening; some weekends as required
DrawBridge is currently seeking candidates to serve as Art Group Facilitators across the San Francisco Bay Area. Training, program support, professional development opportunities, and art supplies are provided.
Role Requirements
- In collaboration with the Program Manager and programs team, develops and leads weekly, bi- monthly, and/or monthly expressive art groups for children at shelters, affordable housing facilities, community centers, or at community events across the San Francisco Bay Area
- Participates in monthly staff meetings with Program Manager and attends DrawBridge trainings and professional development workshops throughout the year
- Develops and submits program plans and materials supplies requests to Program Manager on a quarterly basis.
- Oversees setup and breakdown of program spaces before and after each session and maintains cleanliness and organization of program areas
- Maintains and submits accurate attendance records, supplies inventory, and monthly program reports
- Assists with the distribution of program surveys and evaluations throughout the year
- Accurately tracks and submits payroll hours in a timely manner
- Notifies Program Manager of schedule changes, requests, or concerns from site partners or families
- Arrives at assigned sites on time to run programs as scheduled
- Complies with DrawBridge’s policies and procedures as summarized in the Employee Handbook
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated experience working with children ages 5-18, preferably in an educational or professional setting
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, sound judgment, positive attitude, and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Willingness and ability to travel to site partner locations to produce programs
- Comfort with technology, email, zoom, and online communication
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience, training, or education in the fields of art, child development, education, psychology, or the social sciences preferred; candidates enrolled in an accredited university working toward a degree in a related field are welcomed
- Candidates bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, or Arabic are strongly encouraged to apply

Internship Opportunities at DrawBridge
DrawBridge internships are a wonderful opportunity for students to gain real world experience in nonprofit management and expressive arts programming. Working with DrawBridge administrative staff, each 3-6 month unpaid internship is fully remote and offered for Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. Estimated hours are up to 10 hours per week, with flexible work schedules allowed.
Graphic Design & Communications Intern (Remote/Unpaid)
Support DrawBridge by creating visual and written content for web, social media, and print materials. Interns will have the opportunity to propose and lead creative projects that amplify DrawBridge’s programs and mission.
Ideal Candidates:
- Students or recent graduates with coursework or experience in design, communications, marketing, or related fields
- Comfortable working independently and managing self-guided projects
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite; WordPress a plus
Arts Program Intern (Remote/Unpaid)
Assist with the development of educational materials and activities, supporting our expressive arts programs. Interns are encouraged to design and propose projects that enhance program offerings, with opportunities to participate in in-person programs if located in the Bay Area.
Ideal Candidates:
- Students or recent graduates with coursework or experience in arts education, art therapy, education, or expressive arts
- Experience with K–12 audiences a plus
- Ability to work independently on projects
Grants, Development & Marketing Intern (Remote/Unpaid)
Support DrawBridge’s strategic partnerships, fundraising, and communications efforts. Interns are encouraged to design and lead self-directed projects in grant research, content creation, or marketing campaigns that align with their skills and learning goals.
Ideal Candidates:
Strong research, writing, or content creation skills
Students or recent graduates with coursework or experience in communications, business, philanthropy, or marketing
Comfortable managing independent, project-based work
