For more than 30 years, DrawBridge has provided expressive arts programs to children in shelters, affordable housing facilities, and community centers across seven Bay Area counties. Always free for the families we serve, DrawBridge programs provide children ages five and up the opportunity to connect with their community and explore the playful creativity that is critical to healthy development.

DrawBridge offers over 1,000 free programs each year in Alameda, Marin, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Mateo, and Sonoma counties.

Each year, DrawBridge partners with dozens of local businesses, arts organizations, and community service providers to ensure Bay Area children have access to the arts. None of this work is possible without the support of community members like you.

DrawBridge offers customizable sponsorship and partnership packages based on your organization’s objectives. Partners can select the level and focus of their gift and tailor collaborations to maximize community impact.

2023 Underwriting Opportunities

In addition to year-round art groups offered at shelters, affordable housing sites, and community centers across the Bay Area, DrawBridge is delighted to share these exciting new program partnership opportunities in 2023.

Community Artist Program

In collaboration with area museums and community arts organizations, the DrawBridge Community Artist Program places local artists at our partner sites. DrawBridge community artists celebrate the diversity of the communities we serve and provide inspiration and mentorship opportunities for DrawBridge children. Working closely with our team of trusted facilitators, each artist will develop activities and site-specific works with DrawBridge youth artists of all ages. Support for the Community Artist Program starts at the Program Friend Sponsorship level.

Summer Art Adventures

DrawBridge Summer Art Adventures brings the creativity and fun of summer camp to children at our partner sites across the Bay Area. Led by DrawBridge facilitators and talented Bay Area artists, children ages five and up will explore themes of art, nature, and community in their neighborhoods and beyond. DrawBridge Summer Art Adventures is offered weekly throughout the summer and free for every participating family; all materials and supplies are included. Named opportunities start at the Premium Sponsorship level.

DrawBridge Creativity Kits

DrawBridge’s new Creativity Kits are designed to inspire creativity in children ages five and up. Filled with creative prompts and engaging art materials, hundreds of creativity kits are distributed to DrawBridge youth artists and to families at community events throughout the year. Each free kit presents a different theme or project and includes fun materials and new media for young artists to explore. Activities and materials can be used in DrawBridge art groups or independently with children and their families. Support for DrawBridge Creativity Kits starts at the Sustainer Sponsorship level.
